After Care
To ensure proper healing and preserve the quality of your tattoo, please follow the steps below:
First 3 Days
- Keep the second skin (protective film) that was applied in the studio. It helps protect your tattoo from bacteria, friction, and dirt.
- Do not apply any creams or ointments during this period. Let your skin breathe and begin healing naturally.
From Day 3 Onward
- Gently remove the second skin while washing the area with warm water and a neutral/fragrance-free soap.
- Pat dry with a clean paper towel or soft cloth (do not rub).
- Apply a healing cream.
- Use a thin layer twice a day with clean hands.
- I recommend applying Cicaplast Baume B5 – La Roche-Posay
After 1 Week
- You may switch to a moisturizer of your choice, as long as it’s gentle and free from alcohol or strong fragrances.
- Keep moisturizing the tattoo daily for at least 30 days.
Important: Avoid using any creams or ointments that contain silicone, as they can interfere with the healing process.
